At a time where the concept of peace is highly challenged in the Philippines, eighteen people practiced the tools for Creating Cultures of Peace in the Personal Transformation Workshop on November 19-23, 2019 at Balay Kahimsog, Baclayon, Bohol, Philippines. The participants come from five cities and six provinces from all over the Philippines. They work with schools and universities, local government, non-government organizations for education, community organizing, and youth formation.

After the full training, the Synergeia Foundation Program Officer for North Luzon, Nagmamahal na Ningning, testified that: “This is the workshop of a lifetime. – The one workshop that every human should attend – anyone who has been hurt, who struggled, who wants a more meaningful life, who wants to spread peace in the community. For the first time in my life, I am clear! I know who I am. I know what I want. Peace begins with one’s self. And if more of us were peaceful within, then global peace is so possible.”
