The Peace Libraries are centers for literacy and learning, and a home to programs teaching nonviolent conflict resolution. They provide much-needed educational material to students in the surrounding communities and strive to be centers of learning.

We provide indigenous and English language books which are extremely scarce in most of our regions. We provide training and support to librarians and community volunteers. They learn the developmental stages of reading (Fountas and Pennell) and offer reading time, storytelling, play sessions, short thematic workshops, peace camps and teen volunteer networks.
